A "Dry Hire" service is one where the client supplies the alcohol for their event. Blush Events would then provide the services needed to serve the alcohol such as but not limited to servicing, set-up, and equipment.
Yes! Blush Events carries general liability insurance as well as liquor liability insurance.
We can serve mocktails, craft lemonades, coffee, and/or any other beverage.
Blush Events is not licensed to sell alcohol. The client can purchase alcohol from anywhere. This helps you save money, and you get to keep the leftovers for the after party.
Due to state laws you are responsible for transporting the product to the event site.
Blush Events prefers to serve from traditional 750ml bottles. Traditional 750ml bottles allow for pour spouts and therefore quicker cocktail preparation. However, Blush Events understand that handles are sometimes less expensive so if that is what your budget allows for... we understand.
This is a tricky question because there is no perfect answer. We always like to heir on the side of caution and have more than enough rather than be short. First, decide what you would like to serve: Beer, Seltzer, Wine, and Liquor. Next, choose what mix you would like to serve. Also, consider what your guests prefer to drink. Most guest consume 1.25 drinks per hour. Our Mobile Services are based on 4 hr events which would 5 drinks per guest. For a guest count of 50, 250 drinks.
Understanding Serving Sizes:
Canned or Bottled Beer/ Seltzer/ RTD cocktails - 6pk, 12pk and 24pk
Kegs- 1/6th barrel (55 servings), 1/2 barrel keg (165 serving), and 1 barrel (330 serving)
Wine - 750ml (5 glasses)
Liquor - 750ml (17 servings)
We check IDs unless an event is explicitly 21 and up . Serving minors is illegal and is taken very seriously by the law.
There are four acceptable forms of ID:
Current Driver's License.
Current State Issued Identification Card.
Current Passport.
Military Identification.
The safety of your guests is our priority. Anyone who is visibly intoxicated will be cut off. It’s not fun, but it is occasionally necessary.
